If any concern arises reguarding the printing of forms, an easy way to tell if the problem is related to electronic forms is to first follow the steps below to remove the electronic forms report files and then to return to the use of the original printer driver in System 21.
When using the generic "emergency" pre-printed forms provided in case of any trouble with electronic forms (e.g. when a printer is replaced and the service person does not move the eforms chip into the replacement printer) ensure that the hotel name, etc.. will be printed by checking the box "Print Hotel Address, Phone and Fax on receipts" in the "Database Maintenance" screen.
When electronic forms are installed on the server, the original report file will be backed up in a folder called "Backup" under the "Reports" folder on the server and an icon labeled "Remove E-Forms.bat" will be placed on the desktop of the workstation where the installation was initiated. All you need to do to remove the electronic forms from the server is to double click on that icon.
To remove electronic forms manually,
Continue with Step B) re-configure System 21 at the workstations to use the standard printer driver.
When you are ready to return to electronic forms, simply repeat the e-forms installation steps.
